Dear NF2 Captains,

We will be taking the server offline at 12AM PST in order to make additional tweaks to the updated match making system:

1) Flexible regular room sizes will be introduced once balance is reached:

12 vs 12

13 vs 13

14 vs 14

15 vs 15

16 vs 16

This is in contrast to the current system which allows only for 12 vs 12 and 16 vs 16.

2) Smaller sized battle room will be added :

8 vs 8

Prior server downtime updates:

1) The system will take ship class into consideration exclusively in order to allow flexibility to create more regular battle rooms.

2) Reserve Battle size will be increased to a 32 player maximum (16vs16).

In summary, once balance is achieved for rooms of at least 8 vs 8 or larger, a normal battle will proceed. Failure to reach a balance within these added parameters will then lead to a reserve battle condition.

8 vs 8 = small scale battle room

9 vs 9 ~ 12 vs 12 = medium scale battle room

13 vs 13 ~ 16 vs 16 = large scale battle room
