Dear NF2 Captains,

Our server will go down for regularly scheduled maintenance on Wednesday evening for a short duration.

During this maintenance period, the following updates will be performed:

1. Matchmaker will be set back to prioritizing +/- 3 tiers (the current prioritization is +/- 1 tier).

This change is being made to reduce wait times and reserve battle conditions for the current player base. We will continue to monitor the game and make additional changes in the future following the upcoming new game modes and new ship content.

2. Morale will not drop following a reserved battle loss.

Players who battle under reserved battle condition will no longer have their morale negatively affected through a loss.

Our team is currently in the final test phase of the new game modes. As of today (May 13th), it is still too early to confirm the new game modes for next week's patch as originally noted. We don't want to get your hopes up, but will update you every chance we get as we make progress.

We are also making headway in adding the new ship content; please stay tuned for an updated ETA by next week.
