Base occupation plays a strong part in Navy Field 2

For example, if your team occupies more than 1 base, you may then warp from base to base. While we have yet to discover this sort of technology in the real world, it adds a fun tactical element to the game as it can take some time to traverse the large game maps.

There are even unique base types that can be utilized for additional strategic attacks with specific abilities.

Air Base: Commanders are able to use this function once the team has occupied the base. It provides air recon and air bombing attack. To use this base:
- A shell and binocular icon will appear in the bottom-right corner of the battle screen. Simply click it to use (only commander can use these functions).
- Hit M key to open the strategic panel. The shell and binocular icons will appear.

Radar Base: Marks where enemy ships are located in random intervals. Use is automatic.

AA Tower: Provides very powerful AA attacks from the base. Use is automatic.
Occupying a base is very simple. Each base shows a perimeter in red when highlighted. Simply move your ship into the perimeter and then right-click the base to begin occupation.
