I constantly find it painstaking to identify the ship class info from the ship status window in battle (shortcut ` or shift+tab). All the golden icons with "BB", "CV", "SS", etc., are so tiny and illegible that have always cost me some effort to identify what ships are left in a game. Differentiating ship class icons with colors instead of identical golden pattern may help a lot; presenting the actual ship name is also welcome.
