I just got the game and decided to start working on UK subs. Not sure if that is a good idea. From the forums (here and steam) people seem to like Japanese torpedoes, but I always like to take the road less travelled and show up with something surprising. I have no idea if I am taking a good path to achieve that or not.

Anyway, just looking for some general advice, before I get too locked in.
