I did the this;

1)

Dear Captains,

If you experience a "Data File Version Error", please download our newest patch files from the following link and perform the following steps:

http://navyfield2-patch.globalgamecdn.com/navyfield2/patch/NFIINA/Patch_File/NF2T_1125_123507.zip


1) Download the file and unzip the file.

2) Open the folder and "overwrite" all files in the zip to your "current NF2 game folder".

3) Start the game, then the Data File Version Error problem will be solved.

After this it auto-updates to a never version. DATA FILE ERROR again,

2) uninstall and reinstall through steam, no luck

3) verify integirity from steam, no luck

4) No good solutions around, what are the Devs or GMs doing ???
