Sorry to be disturbing the general discussion with this issue, as I tried to find any other thread with keyword searches and have found none.. So I felt compelled to create a thread.

Every once in a while ( Especially today : After 19:00 - 22:00 CET and still going ) there is a huge lag spike on the game.

Asked on general chat and it's not only me. ( So don't come flaming with my connection, firewall, updates etc.. )

The game becomes almost unplayable as the ships freeze and move and freeze and move, let alone aim and hit a target..

The bullet trajectory also becomes longer leaving a huuuuuge trail behind it when this happens or games are crowded.

I think people are just used to this issue and do not log on whil it's happening. So little people online, very small battles always is the indication of people abandoning playtime due to the insufficient service of gameplay that is offered here.

Can TNF give some sort of explanation to this issue.. It almost always happens these times of the week.

Server going on disk defrag or what ? Who knows, but something is not right with the server side connection as far as most people from different countried ( especially in Europe ) complain about the lag..

Also, interestingly, am I the single one who's bringing the subject up ?

Or has it been done before but players gave away hope ?
