Current NF 2 Build Exp, Current NF 2 Destination - Exp Gripes

This post will be two parts, what the game currently stands, and where the game is headed.

 

Current

The current exp gain is atrociously high for just playing the game normally, not to mention the gains for playing the game well. Teir 9 Battleships making 40k exp games, Averaging 16k exp a game etc.

I believe the reward for players playing well should be good so theres a feeling of accomplishment, but there is a bigger underlying issue of people NOT playing the game (afk/botting) getting decent exp enough the keep allowing it to go.

To be fair, the average player is noticeably more active and motivated in doing well, which I personally am very glad to see. Teamwork is now a must in order to obtain high gains from games.

Future

The future of the game is in jeoprody if players are able to level a teir 11 ship in less than a week. The current feeling of getting a new ship and learning the in's and out's of it, the feelinging of getting a new ship you grinded weeks on end for, everything will disappear as players just hop into ships in a matter of hours.

The lifespan of the game will be cut drastically if nothing is done about the exp gain. Unlike NF 1 which has lasted years before SDE decided to throw exp at players, it's happening to NF 2 right before the half year mark.

From the business side, it looks like a mad dash to make a bit more money, get a little bit more player activity from NF 2, but I believe this is the wrong way to go about it. I thorough improvement of gameplay, new game modes, etc. would bolster player activity & confidence.

 

Personal resolve: I will not pay for a game when I have no confidence in it lasting much longer.

 

TL;DR: Reduce EXP gains, Reduce EXP gains for AFKers/Bots, Game will die in current state.
