To Devs: Error in claiming Premium Account from Goldbox

Devs, I have received quite a few goldboxes that turned out to be premium account (ranging from 1 day to 3 days). But the thing is I cannot consume them, whether by double clicking, or through the "purchase premium account window" where I can see that these rewards are on the list but just cannot use them. Then I discovered that you can merge the days by moving and dropping one premium account on top of another. Still, the merged ones cannot be used either. 

 

I just wonder when this can be solved. Because you say these items are only valid in 3 months and some of them are already 1 month past. 

 

If the player cannot use the items, isn't it dishonest of the developers  to give them out in the first place?
