Old features =/= bad features and some complaints

Now, I have played NF1, and though a newbie, I did get to experience a bit of every nation and most of the game mechanics.

This game is becoming extremely linear to the point of boringness especially compared to NF1. Primarily, I am talking about the customisation mechanics.

Firstly, why are the option to use any guns you want based on weapon officer level removed? This feature sets you apart from the competitors and you wasted this advantage for a module research system not unlike WoT, which to be honest is pretty damn ridiculous and stupid.

Secondly, armor customisation..... who was it that came up with the bright idea of mounting them as items which dissapear after 7 days? Nuff said. Seriously, the old way of adjusting the amount of deck, bulk, bulge and belt armor desired was probably the best and it maximises customsation. Yes, there will be power gamers but hey, I want a ship, built my own way for myself!  :D

Furthermore, what is with the balance between auto aiming and manual aiming? Old NF, auto aiming past a certain point was undesirable due to limitation in AA (It exist now) AND inability to spot shells and enemy as well as other ships. Right now, there are almost no disadvantage for mouse/ automatic aiming while manual gets this dismal fire rate boost that will do NO GOOD.

Lastly, why do Battleships and HAs drive like jetskis? Seeing them doing a 180 or 360 as fast as they are is pretty damn ridiculous.

I am aware this is a beta, though I still like to raise my concern.
