I'll keep this as simple as possible.

Ever watched one of those old black and white films with naval battles? I bet you have. Did you ever hear a commander shout all guns to the starboard? I have heard that on many films. And I suspect it is actually an order that can be given in real life too.

So why is there no function to group all the guns on a ship for movement? 

I am not asking for grouped firing here, just the ability to move all guns to the same general direction should I choose it.

Look at the Queen Elizabeth 1943, she has 15" and 4.7" guns, in the thick of battle I have to swap between guns 1 and 2 to not only fire them but move them. However the 15" guns could be pointing off the starboard and the 4.7" could be pointing off the port due to target following and ship movement. With a GRP button next to the TDA button this would allow anybody to move all their guns like issuing the above command. I would still need to press 1 and 2 to fire them and fine tune them because of their fire grouping etc, but at least I could move them ALL regardless of whether their selected for firing.

At least with this option when the fan is getting covered in excrement, I at least know all my guns will be pointing in a semi useful direction. It's either something like this be added or slow the game down. Because I supect trying to manage 3 sets of guns in a fight is damn near impossible unless your some super human gaming freak. Give the casual none competitive less nimble older gits like me a fighting chance.
