Using basic training is not even close to worth it...

Basic Training is about a 10% success rate based on numbers from over 50 attempts.

Of which all the of the successes were between 0.5-1% maximum morale increases.

At 12,000 Credit it will take an average of 700 attempts to max out a single sailors.

This can also be converted to 8.4 Million Credits per Sailor or for a full loadout it is 184.8 mil for a full loadout.

At $10 per 1250 Gold for 125,000 credits that is $672 per sailor or $14,784 for a full ship.

Not to mention that this game gets very boring without multiple lines. 

That is completely ridiculous.

If instead you went with Advanced Training it 120gold per with 100% success.

Assuming that the success are in the same average maximum morale increase as Basic Training. 

It will take 70 total attempt to to maxout a single salior or $67.2 per Sailor or $1478.4 for a full ship.

This means to maintain the 1 to 100 gold to credits ratio basic training is x10 worse then purchasing the advanced training.
